Imaging should play a central role in the assessment of female pelvic diseases, supporting diagnosis, patient stratification, disease staging and treatment-response evaluation across a range of conditions including endometriosis, adenomyosis, infertility, uterine fibroids and gynaecological cancers.

Clinical studies in women’s health rely heavily on established imaging assessments and expert radiological review. However, as sponsors seek to better understand disease biology, therapeutic impact and patient outcomes, there is growing demand for imaging approaches that provide quantitative, functional and longitudinal measures of disease.

In addition we also support quantitative imaging analysis, extending beyond traditional image review to support a range of advanced and exploratory imaging endpoints, including:
Functional Imaging: Analysis of cine and dynamic MRI and US datasets to assess physiological processes that cannot be captured through static imaging alone. Functional measures may provide insight into uterine contractility, tissue motion, organ function and treatment-related changes.
Quantitative Imaging: Objective measurement of imaging biomarkers across timepoints to support disease monitoring, patient stratification and therapy-response assessment. Quantitative approaches can improve consistency and sensitivity compared with conventional qualitative assessment.
3D Reconstruction and Visualisation: Advanced three-dimensional modelling of pelvic anatomy and pathology enables improved understanding of disease extent, anatomical relationships and longitudinal changes over time. These visualisations can support both clinical interpretation and trial decision-making.
Multi-Modality Assessment: Integration of MRI,ultrasound,colposcopy and histopathology datasets to provide a more comprehensive picture of disease. Combining structural and functional information can help characterise complex disease phenotypes and support endpoint development.
Longitudinal Disease Tracking: Quantitative comparison of imaging findings across multiple timepoints to assess disease progression, stability or response to treatment, supporting both early development decisions and later-phase study design.
